Resistant Building Products worked with Penlaw on supplying a substrate Base Board for the whole development that could stand the weather conditions during construction and still offer a solid board to fix to a SFS system and carry the brick slip finish across the exterior of the apartments.
After tests with other manufacturers boards Base Board was chosen for the development due to its ease of use and strong fixing qualities with this SFS system and the Base Board product offered a cleaner option to other boards on the market, performed perfectly with the brick slip system and offered a large saving against other boards. Phase two of this development is due to commerce in late 2017 and both the contractor and distributor have confirmed that Resistant Base Board will be the chosen board for the next phases.
This unique development in Stoke Newington provides high quality housing close to local amenities including the train station which provides residents with fast convenient access to Central London.
